Derailing for a mo, but I didn’t know that firing squads were still used. What the fuck!

Apparently Gardner sued the state of Utah for execution by firing squad because he preferred it because of his Mormon heritage. Now the only state in the US that still uses firing squads is Oklahoma, and that’s only as a secondary method. Apparently a politician in Florida tried to introduce a bill in Florida to allow inmates to choose firing squad over lethal injection last October, but I don’t know where that went.
